Robert Mack Bingham
February 26th, 1944 - November 29th, 2024
Robert Mack Bingham affectionately known as Papa passed away peacefully on November 29th, in Meridian, Idaho. Born on February 26th, 1944. Mack lived a passionate life for family and adventure.
Mack started working at the young age of 14 at Skaggs Drug Center. With his strong work ethics, he worked his way up to Vice president. In 1988, Mack retired from the corporate world and ventured out with his wife, Carole to open up a chain of craft stores, to feed Carole's habit, called Macs Hobbies and Crafts. They opened their first store in Boise, Id. then expanded out to the Oregon and Utah markets.
Mack's selfless love for this family and friends were a testament to his character. His motto was "Be humble, be kind". Mack loved the outdoors; no dirt road was off limits for this avid explorer. No river was rough enough for Mack and Carole's canoeing adventures with close friends. From Alaska to South America no fish was safe from this passionate fisherman.
This devoted father, husband, brother, uncle and active Papa was an inspiration to us all. Anyone who was blessed enough to know Mack could see and describe him as being full of life!
Mack is survived by his beloved wife, Carole, and his two cherished daughters and son in laws, Kim and Jim and Katrin and Nathan. His two beloved granddaughters, Lauren and Makaela, his three sisters and extended family. Preceded in death by his only grandson, Tyler.
Celebration of life will be announced in the Spring or summer of 2025. See you there.
