Michael "Mike" David Comeau
September 16th, 1963 - December 13th, 2024
Kathleen, Georgia - Michael "Mike" David Comeau, 61 went home to be with his Lord and savior, Jesus Christ with his beloved family at his bedside on Friday, December 13, 2024. A funeral service honoring the life of Mike will be held on Monday, December 16, 2024, at 5:30PM at Second Baptist Church with Pastor Jimmy Moneypenny officiating. A visitation with family and friends will be held prior to the funeral service beginning at 2:00PM till 5:00PM. Burial will be for family only.
Mike was born on September 16, 1963, in Buffalo, New York to Beckie Berryhill Comeau and Roger Comeau. He was a loving father and husband who adored his family and aimed to be at every ball game and school program. In fact, Mike served as his girls coach for both softball and basketball for several years. The love he possessed for his wife and girls never went unnoticed as his love remained steadfast throughout his treatments. Mike was a man who possessed humor and would often make others laugh in times of heartache.
Mike was a faithful member of Second Baptist Church where he served the Lord with all of his heart, soul, mind, and strength. Mike also played on the Second Baptist Church Bomber Softball team. He also served in countless ministries and was not ashamed to share the Gospel with anyone.
Mike was a hardworking man who understood the importance of impacting the next generation of leaders as he served as an educator for the Houston County Board of Education for 27 years until his retirement. During his tenure as an educator, Mike worked at Bert Rumble Middle School, David Perdue Primary, and Perry Middle. When Mike was not working, he could be found relaxing in a deer stand, or on a body of water casting out a fishing line.
There waiting for Mike at the gates of heaven was his beloved father, Roger Comeau.
Left to cherish the beautiful memory that Mike leaves behind is his beloved wife of the last 30 years, Sabrina Boyd Comeau; children, Madison and Makenzie Comeau; mother, Beckie Comeau; brothers, Steven (Elaine) Comeau and Paul (Linda) Comeau. Mike is also survived by a host of extended family members and countless friends.
In lieu of flowers the family respectfully asks that donations be made payable to Second Baptist Church Victory Sports, 2504 Moody Rd, Warner Robins, GA 31088 or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
