Karola A Masse

Karola A. Masse (Pfeifer) 12-25-1935 passed away on 11-30-2024 in St. Petersburg, Florida

Karola was born in Baden-Baden West Germany to Marie Pfeifer and Karl Pfeifer in 1935.  While Karola lived in Germany it is there that she met her husband Robert Masse (who was the love of her life) while he was in the air force station in Germany they met. Karola and Robert were married in 1957. Robert then retired from the air force in 1967, then they decided  to come back to the United States to live in Florida. Karola then became a US Citizen and was very proud to be a US Citizen.  Karola worked for Macy's in store sales for several years, then retired.  Karola loved celebrating the holidays, and special days with family, and friends, she made every moment special for that person. Karola always had a warm smile, and a generous spirit to those who lives she touched.  She loved to read, do crafts, enjoyed fine arts, and music.  Karola had a love for the bay's waters and walked the shore daily.  Karola will now have one more walk by the bay to heaven. She will deeply be missed by her family, and friends.

Karola is preceded in death by her beloved husband: Robert Masse, and sister Henriette Frankenback, and parents Marie, and Karl Pfeifer

Karola is survived by her nephew (in Florida) James Masse, and his wife Teresa Masse, their son's Andrew, and Matthew Masse, Kateri Masse (wife to Andrew Masse) Owen Masse (son of Andrew and Kateri). Jurgen Frankenback (Nephew-Germany) niece Monika Frankenback (niece-Germany) as well as several family members in Rhode Island, and Massachusetts.
