Our beautiful mother, Leah Rae Pellerin, passed away peacefully on December 6, 2024.
Leah was born in Rapid City, South Dakota on June 9, 1938 to Harry and Oma Clarke. She was a middle child of 4 and is preceded in death by her parents and oldest sister, Sheila McCormick and her younger brother, Michael Clarke. Leah is survived by her younger sister, Diane Larson (Tom), her five children: Lynda Neumiller Simon, Stephen Noecker (Dee), Jill Chambers (Thomas), Carole Valdez (Daniel) and Jay Pellerin. In addition she had eight great grandchildren: MacKenzie, Nyal, Owen, Giavanni, Genavieve, Carlina, Elijah, and Stella.
Leah was a loving mother and grandmother who worked tirelessly throughout her life. She loved crafting, cooking, and gardening, but mostly spending time with her grand and great grandchildren. She was always thinking of special ways to create memories for all her children with the limited means available to her. She was a great friend to many in her community and before dementia was always willing to help out a neighbor or friend. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
