Michael "Mike" Fulmer Bickley, 79, of Cayce, South Carolina, passed away December 16, 2024 at Lexington Medical Center, West Columbia, South Carolina. He was born on August 12, 1945, in Charleston, South Carolina to Erby and Esther (Fulmer) Bickley.

 

Mike graduated from Brookland Cayce High School and was a lifelong truck driver. In his free time, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, vegetable gardening and animals. He enjoyed watching football, baseball and NASCAR and was a die-hard USC Gamecocks and Atlanta Braves fan.

 

Mike is survived by:

His wife, Laurietta C. Bickley; son, Michael B. Bickley; daughter, Melanie Bickley; grandson, M. Dalton Bickley; sister, Marilyn B. Plampin; and several nieces and nephews.

 

He was preceded in death by:

His father, Erby Bickley; mother, Esther Bickley; brother, Everette Bickley; and nephews, Pete Plampin and Jeff Plampin.

 

The family will receive friends at Thompson Funeral Home on Friday, December 20 from 12-1 PM. Funeral services will be immediately following in the funeral home chapel with Brett DeYoung officiating. Interment will be at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Little Mountain, SC.
