Douglas Brown, 68, of St. Petersburg, Florida, passed away on December 15, 2024. Born on June 6, 1956, in Tolono, Illinois, Doug spent much of his life in South Jersey before settling in St. Petersburg.
Doug had many passions, with one of his greatest being the time he spent with his wife, Deborah. Together, they enjoyed the simple pleasures of life, and Doug's love for her never wavered. They shared their home with their two beloved cats, who brought Doug comfort and companionship. In addition to his love for family, Doug was an avid chess player, known for his sharp mind and strategic thinking. He also found joy in 3D printing, constantly experimenting with new designs and innovations.
A man of integrity and warmth, Doug was a quiet yet strong presence in the lives of those who knew him. His wit, kindness, and generosity will be missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Doug was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Deborah Sammon Brown, and his father, Ronald Brown. He is survived by his mother, Patsy Baird, his sister, Cindy Baird, and his niece, Christine Hill, all of whom cherished him deeply.
A private family service will be held in his honor. May he rest in peace.
