Anna Rose West
June 22nd, 1935 - December 12th, 2024
Forget me not, when I am gone, in hearts and prayers I will live on, be strong, be brave and dry your tears. Remember all our happy years.
Anna left this world for a better place with her Lord, free from the Parkinsons that had ravaged her body over the last few years. She was born in Selz, ND to Lorenz and Elizabeth Heilman and she had 14 brothers and sisters.
Anna married George Zacher and had one son before moving out to Washington State in 1956 and added 4 more children to the fold. They moved West for work but Anna was a stay at home Mother and and was a neighborhood favorite as all the kids loved to hang out at the house because she was always baking and enjoyed everyone being there. She loved this because she always knew where her kids were. She eventually went to work in 1980 (after always doing seasonal work only), at the Daffodil Bowl and eventually managing the restaurant creating wonderful soup recipes that brought in the customers and also made all her own salad dressings. Our family favorite was the thousand island. She lived a full life with her 10 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.
Anna was preceded in death by her parents, 3 brothers and 10 sisters, daughter Lori and Lori's son Johnny.
She is survived by her remaining children Tim (Genevieve), Debbie (Ben), Tami, Jeff (Melanee) her grandchildren and too many nieces and nephews to count and her older sister Lillian.
Anna was shy and did not like being the center of attention so she requested no memorial service to take place. If you would like, please make donations to the Parkinson's Foundation.
