Ruby P. Manley, 90, of Lexington, South Carolina passed away December 21, 2024 at Lexington Medical Center Extended Care Lexington, South Carolina. She was born on November 9, 1934 in Orangeburg, SC, to the late James and Susan Porter.
Ruby is survived by her daughters Judy McPherson (Johnny), Carolyn Player, Lori Easterwood, and her son, Wilford E. Manley, Jr. (Tammy). She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, twenty-two great grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, M. Sgt. Wilford E Manley who served 26 years in the U.S. Army, seven sisters, and five brothers.
She was a devoted wife to her husband for forty-two years before his death in 1996. She was a member of Earlewood Baptist Church.
Ruby retired from Belk Department Store of Columbia.
A Graveside Service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, 12/27/24 at Elmwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Thursday 12/26/24 at Thompson Funeral Home, 4720 Augusta Road, Lexington, SC.
