Anthony Christopher Martinez

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Anthony Christopher Martinez, who left us too soon on December 16, 2024, in his beloved hometown of Greeley, Colorado. 

Anthony was known to those who loved him as a kind and funny soul, always bringing laughter and warmth to any room he entered. His energy was boundless, and his zest for life was evident in everything he did, particularly in his love for music and dance. He was a man who embraced life's rhythms, not just as a spectator, but as an active participant—sharing his creative spirit with everyone around him. 

 The heart of Anthony’s life was his family, and he cherished every moment shared with them. He is survived by his parents, Steve Yanes and Jennie Martinez, Sandra Yanes , Silvestre Ruvalcaba who were a constant source of love and support. Anthony grew up surrounded by his siblings; Norman (Lori) Martinez, Amelia (Adam) Espinosa, Tina (Joe) Martinez, Renee (Damian) Martinez, Christina (Santos) La Bomba, Steven (Ashley) Yanes, Victoria (Claudio) Hernandez, Joe (Jessica) Yanes, and Marina (Arnulfo) Ruvalcaba, all of whom shared countless memories that will forever be treasured in their hearts. He is preceded in death by Melonie Nori Martinez and Ramona Jennie DeLacruz Martinez.  His presence will be dearly missed by his large, loving family and all who had the privilege of knowing him. 

A Memorial service to honor Anthony’s life will be held on Friday, December 27, 2024, at 1 pm at Northern Colorado Crematory, located at 700 8th St, Greeley, CO. The family invites all those who knew Anthony to attend and celebrate the life of a man who brought so much joy and creativity into the world. 

 While Anthony may no longer walk among us, his spirit and the beautiful memories he created will remain in our hearts forever. May his soul find peace and may his legacy of kindness and joy continue to inspire us all.
