Ronald Lee Roberts passed away on December 19, 2024 in Ruskin, Florida, at the age of 59. He was born on January 7, 1965 in Indianapolis, Indiana and graduated in 1983 from Avon High School. He then entered the Air Force at Lackland Air Force Base working as a jet mechanic. After being honorably discharged, he took that craft and worked in various locations like Albuquerque, New Mexico; Savannah, Georgia; Oklahoma; and Ruskin, Florida. At the time of his death, Ronald was employed with the National Aviation Academy as an instructor, and also with the Meadowbrook Golf Company as grounds maintenance. He loved to travel with his family and played at several different golf courses around the country. He collected lighthouses and sports memorabilia.
Ronald is preceded in death by his father John Elmer Roberts; mother Lorraine Moore Roberts; grandfather James Lufford Moore; and grandmother Benna Gertrude Moore. He is survived by his sister Michelle Annette Dalton; daughter Kendra Marie Roberts; grandchild Taden Lee Roberts; nieces Amber Nicole Cottey, and Autumn Lorraine Wright; great-nieces and nephews Hunter Lane Wright, Octavia Raine Cottey, Phoenix Wade Cottey, and Ensley Ridge Wright; aunt Rebecca Lee Morrow; and several cousins.
