Donna Ganser

Donna Faye Ganser, 85, of Jefferson passed away on Saturday, December 21, 2024 at Alden Estates of Jefferson.

Donna was born on November 6, 1939 in Reedsburg, Wisconsin.

She married Jack Ganser on May 6, 1960.

Donna was a devoted Mother, Grandma and Great Grandma. She drove a school bus for the Jefferson School District for many years. She also worked at Jefferson High School for numerous years. Her favorite “job” was probably working at Culvers in Johnson Creek where she enjoyed welcoming and visiting with all of the customers. Donna loved taking her family and friends to enjoy a Culver’s treat and good conversation.

Donna was a member of Saint John the Baptist Catholic Church in Jefferson.

She enjoyed her many travels with her daughter Luann over the years. She was passionate about volunteering. Donna spent countless hours working at St. Vincent DePaul, the Jefferson Food Pantry, St. John the Baptist Parish and the American Legion Auxiliary.

Donna is survived by her children, John (Laurie) Ganser of Johnson Creek, Paul (Lori) Ganser of Jefferson, David Ganser of Jefferson, Roger (Dawn) Ganser of Jefferson, Chris (Denise) Ganser of Waterloo, Harold (Bonnie) Ganser of Fort Atkinson; 11 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her father, Fay Gardner; husband, Jack Ganser; daughter, Luann Ganser and sister, Delores Haack.

A memorial mass of Christian burial will take place at 11AM on Saturday, December 28, 2024 at St. Lawrence Catholic Church. A visitation will take place from 9:30AM until the time of mass. An inurnment will take place at a later date at St. John the Baptist Catholic Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Saint John the Baptist Catholic Church in Jefferson.
