Kenneth G. Hagen
June 27th, 1941 - December 13th, 2024
Kenneth G. Hagen, age 83, of Westminster, Colorado, passed away on Friday, December 13, 2024. He was born in Graceville, MN on June 27, 1941, to Donald and Walburga (Ecker) Hagen.
He grew up on the family farm in Traverse County with his four siblings and graduated from Graceville High School in 1959. He went on to serve his country in the US Air Force stationed in Denver, CO. He completed his apprenticeship program and obtained a license as an electrician. As an IBEW local 68 union member he worked on numerous jobsite such as the Henderson mine, Denver International Airport and many buildings in the Denver area. He and his family spent 5 years living in the mountains until the project was completed. Kenny enjoyed the outdoors, camping, fishing, boating and tinkering around his shop yard. In the winter he spent 6 months at his condo in Neuvo Vallarta, Mexico. Kenny lived the majority of his life in Colorado but was always present at any family gatherings for graduations, weddings, family reunions, etc.
Kenny is survived by his wife of 63 years, Christie (Maes), two daughters Michele Roybal and Renee (Phillip) Castillo and grandchildren: Craig (Patricia,) Ashley (Ben), Lauren (Daniel), Travis, 11 great grandchildren and brothers David Hagen and Leroy (Lynn) Hagen and sister Mary Juneau.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Walburga Hagen and brother, Gary Hagen. No services are planned at this time.
