In Loving Memory of Ronald Knight, an Unwavering Family Man, Devoted Grandfather, Faithful Christian, and lifelong sports enthusiast.
Ronnie was preceded in death by his mother, Crystal Mode Knight, his father, Mendell Lloyd Knight, his beloved wife, Jaclyn Poorman Knight, and brother-in-law Fritz Kabisch. He is survived by his two sisters, Vickie Kabisch and Tammie Payne(Tim), nieces, a nephew, and many cousins who shared in many of his most treasured moments.
Ronnie loved Jesus and was a longtime member of Central Church of God. Because of his unwavering love for the Lord he loved others and was quick to point others back to his Savior.
He was the proud father of three children: Crystie McCutchan (Shawn), Brandon Knight, and Sean Knight. Ronald’s unwavering support, wisdom, and love were the foundation of his family, and his legacy continues through them.
His greatest joy was his six grandchildren: Caitlyn McCutchan, Jonathan McCutchan, Jacob McCutchan, Jackson McCutchan, Caleb Knight, and Hailey Knight. Ronnie was their biggest cheerleader, whether at sporting events, graduations, fishing trips, or family beach vacations. He treasured every moment spent with his family, creating countless joyful memories that will be carried in their hearts forever.
A lifelong fan of the Baltimore Orioles & Carolina Panthers, Ronnie rarely missed a game. His love for baseball was a constant source of joy and connection, and he shared his team pride with everyone around him.
Ronnie’s memory will be cherished by his children, grandchildren, sisters, extended family, and many friends. His devotion to family, unwavering faith, and vibrant spirit left an indelible mark on everyone fortunate enough to know him.
A celebration of Ronnie's life will be officiated by Darren Adams and held at Tribute and Tallent Funeral Home, 1937 N Sharon Amity Rd., Charlotte, NC, 28205, on Sunday December 29, 2024 from 5pm - 7pm. Friends and family are invited to honor his memory and share stories of the remarkable man he was
