Anthony James Flores

Anthony James “AJ” Flores, age 46, passed peacefully on December 26, 2024 in Longmont Colorado.  He was born on November 15, 1978 in Loveland Colorado.

AJ is a proud father of three daughters:  Frankie Rae, Gracie Teodora Maxine and Lucelia “Lucy” Fay Flores who were by his side during his unexpected illness and death, along with his sister Julia and husband Tyler, his parents and his good friend Cameron Goodell. 

AJ was an athlete at heart and an avid fan of Berthoud and Loveland High School Sports, and the Denver Broncos.  AJ took his love for sports and coached his girls for many years.  AJ will be remembered for his infectious laugh, his sense of humor, his adventurous schemes, his love for every dog he saw, his giving personality and for being the expert "Fashion Police" to his girls.  

AJ is the brother to Julia Flores Cronkite, and will be missed by her family; husband Tyler and 2 boys Fielder and Clemens.

AJ will be irreplaceable as a son to his parents; Denise and Fortino “Tino” Flores.  AJ is a grandson of June Wadas of Johnstown, CO.

He is the nephew of Rod (Cheryl) Wadas, Dan (Susan) Wadas, Bill (Joanie) Wadas, Steven Wadas, Robert Wadas and Patricia (Jack) Fuhrmann.  Jose (Maria) Flores, Richard (Geri) Flores, Irma (David) Daniels, Rosa Flores, Norma Flores, Saundra Flores and Lupina Alvarez

AJ is preceded in death by his Grandfather Raymond Wadas, his Grandparents Fortino and Teodora Flores, his aunt Rosalinda de Shumacher, uncles Lupe Flores and Manuel Flores.  And his Cousins Mariah Wadas and Calder Cronkite.

AJ is from a large family and survived by many cousins, who he loved to be with. 

Come celebrate AJ’s life with his family and friends on Friday, January 3rd, 2025 from 4-7 pm at Dreams and Dragonflies, 5194 County Road 50, Johnstown, CO 80534.

A private mass and burial will be held. 

In AJs giving way, he was a Skin, Bone and Eye Donor.
