Don G True

Mr. Don G. True, age 89 of Frankfort, Kentucky passed away on Thursday, December 26, 2024 at the Frankfort Regional Medical Center. He was born on July 4, 1935 in Corinth, Kentucky to the late Denver C. and Agnes Marie (Hudson) True.

Don was a retired KFC franchise owner, a farmer, a proud 1954 graduate of Owen County High School, and member of Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church in Owenton, Kentucky.

Always devoted to his family, Don is survived by 2 daughters: Dana True of Owenton, Kentucky, Dona True of Owenton, Kentucky, 1 son: Jarrod True of Nashville, Tennessee, 2 grandchildren Taylor Blair Wilhoite, Drew Howard, 2 great-grandchildren: Sawyer Wilhoite, Aurora Hudson Wilhoite, a close special friend: Anne Burford and host of other relatives and friends who all mourn his passing.

Other than his parents Don was preceded in death by his beloved wife: Jacqueline Morrow True.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 2, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Clark Legacy Center 3000 Versailles Road Frankfort, Kentucky with brother David "Milkweed" Wotier officiating.  Entombment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens in Frankfort, Kentucky.There will be a gathering following the entombment on Thursday from 3- 5 p.m. in the Clark Legacy Center.

Pallbearers will be: Mark Brown, Drew Howard, Ricky Perry, Kevin True, Michael True, and Sawyer Wilhoite.

Honorary pallbearers will be: Ed Godby, Danny Jacobs, Dale Marston, Larry Tackett, and Charlie Thornton.

Clark Legacy Center is honored to be in charge of arrangements for Mr. Don G. True.
