Sandra L. "Sandi" (Cook) Foote, 59, passed away December 26, 2024 with family by her side. Born on February 16, 1965 in Ware, MA, she was daughter to the late William J. Cook Jr. and Sylvia (Bouchard) Cook. Sandi was a beloved resident of Belchertown, where she graduated from Belchertown High School. Her dedication to helping others was evident in her 34 years of committed service as a Direct Care Worker for the Department of Developmental Services. Her work left a meaningful impact on the lives of many, demonstrating her generous spirit and compassionate nature. Sandi had a deep affection for animals, particularly horses. She found joy and relaxation in camping and spending her days at the beach, treasuring the simple pleasures of life in the company of loved ones. Her devoted dog, Baxter, and cat, Fuzz, were constant companions who brought her great joy. Sandi will be dearly missed by her husband of 31 years, Bruce Foote; her daughter, Maegen Foote and Bill Watkins; her dear sisters, Denise and Judy Cook; brother, Stephen Mailhiot; and many treasured cousins, nieces, nephews, and extended family members. Visitation will be held on Monday, January 6th from 9:30-11:30am, with a service to begin at 11:30 at the Beers & Story Belchertown Funeral Home. Burial will immediately follow in South Cemetery.
