Michael Alan Cervantes II never met a stranger. He cared for people in all walks of life and was always willing to help someone in need even when he did not have the means.

Michael’s life began in Stuttgart, Germany on February 7, 1976. He returned to the states at the age of two with his dad Michael Alan Cervantes Sr. and his late mom Debra Seymore.

Michael loved the outdoors, live music and good food. Family , however was his priority.

Michael graduated from Greenville Technical College in 2013 with an associates degree in computer programming but was a jack of all trades in life. He enjoyed working with his hands, building, working on cars, helping out in theater and so much more.

Michael reconnected with his future wife Tonya in 2011. The two became engaged on July 23, 2013 and married the following year on December 13, 2014 at Wren High School where their story began many years before. Though building a life together is never easy,  Michael and Tonya weathered many storms and always had a bond that kept them connected no matter the distance.

With the ups and downs of his life he always tried to smile and laugh and bring that feeling to others. He always had a million projects going and tried to accomplish the impossible.

Michael made the eternal decision to be baptized and on September 22, 2024 he took that step at Northside Church.

In the last year of his life Michael made life changing decisions to better his life and that of his family which allowed him to leave a legacy to be proud of.

Sadly on December 26, 2024 Michael entered eternal life leaving behind his wife of 10 years, Tonya and their four children, Jocelyn, Hayden & Bristol Sanzari and Merci Cervantes. Michael also leaves behind his grandmother Leanore Brissey, his father Michael (Regina) Cervantes, his uncle Frank (Robin) Cervantes, brothers Eric Cervantes and Brandon Cervantes as well as  many nieces, nephews and others who he loved.

Michael entered Heaven and reunited with his mother Debra, step-father Kenny, aunt Diana Rogers, and grandfathers Hugh Tallent & Heyward Brissey as well as other loved ones to begin his eternal celebration.

Michael will be missed more than he would have ever imagined and he left an imprint that can never be forgotten.
