Thomas David Walker

Warner Robins, Georgia - Thomas David Walker, 69, went home to be with his personal Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Tuesday, December 31, 2024. A funeral service honoring the life of David will be held Sunday, January 5, 2025 at 3:00 PM in the chapel of Heritage Memorial Funeral Home. A visitation with family and friends will be held one hour prior to the funeral service from 2:00PM to 3:00PM. Immediately following the services, David will be laid to rest at Parkway Memorial Gardens.

David was born on September 17, 1955 in Dublin, Georgia to the late Vera and Thomas Walker. David was a man who possessed a servants heart and served the Lord his God with all of his heart, soul, mind, and strength. He was a faithful father who cherished his family and enjoyed making memories with his grandchildren.

While David loved making memories with those he loved, nothing would compare to the joy he had in leading his family to find and follow Jesus. David understood to live his life on mission for Christ and lead countless individuals to Jesus through his charismatic and loving personality.

David worked for Houston Healthcare for 38 years as a Medical Laboratory Scientist where he developed countless relationships with friends and cared for those in their time of illness. David was a foodie who loved trying new things and savoring the moment of a good meal. David also enjoyed music and appreciated the art of being able to express oneself through lyrics.

Left to cherish the memory David leaves behind is his wife, Terry Walker; daughter: Kristin Vargas (Eliseo); step-daughters: Beth Montelongo (Billy), Amanda Windon (Joe); grandchildren, William, Emily, Reina, Bailey, Brady, Leyla, Jackson, Blakele, and Baby Vargas; nephew: Tommy Cofield. David is also survived by a host of extended family members and countless friends.
