Holland Johnson, a lifelong resident of Palmer, MA, passed away on December 30, 2024, at Baystate Medical Center. Born on September 23, 1939, in Palmer, he was the devoted son of the late Charles L. and Dorothy (Wilson) Johnson.

Holland was a respected figure in his community, known for his instrumental role as part owner of Precision Wire Shapes in West Brookfield, where he dedicated 28 fulfilling years of his career. His service extended beyond his professional life, honorable serving in the US Air Force and being a member of AMVETS Post 74, where he served as a past commander, and the American Legion.

Family was at the heart of Holland's life. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Patricia (Noga) Johnson, with whom he shared 62 beautiful years. Together, they enjoyed frequent trips to the casino and leisurely Caribbean getaways, creating enduring memories that Holland cherished deeply. His love for gardening and mowing his yard on his John Deere tractor were hobbies that brought him great joy.

Holland's legacy continues through his children, son James Johnson and his wife Renee of Thorndike, and daughter Kimberly Sloat and her husband Peter of Seneca, SC. He was a proud grandfather to Daniel, Nathan, Matthew, Nicholas, Thomas, and Sarah, and a doting great-grandfather to Dorothy, Holland, Elijah, Naomi, and Santino. His sister, Judy Watts, also survives him, offering cherished family ties and memories of shared times. He was predeceased by his brother, Corbin Johnson.

In keeping with Holland's wishes, a private burial will be held. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Shriners Children's Hospital, Holyoke Soldiers' Home or My Father's House, a Milestone Ministry, PO Box 366, Thorndike, MA 01079.  Beers & Story Palmer Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
