Donna J Winick

Donna J. Winick, 84, of Fort Collins, Colorado passed away peacefully in her home on December 26, 2024.

Donna was born Nov. 25, 1940 to George and Esther Hoff, and grew up on a farm east of Fort Collins. Donna graduated from Fort Collins High School in 1959. Donna met her future husband Larry when she was 17. They dated for 3 years until they married December 4, 1960. Donna and Larry were married for 53 years. Donna worked in banking until her first child was born in 1962. While staying home raising her children she also enjoyed gardening and canning. She was a long time member of the Plymouth Congregational Church. Later, she was employed at the Walmart Distribution Center where she enjoyed working. She spent her latter year’s disabled, but still enjoyed life. She listened to music and read the current events every morning in the newspaper, went to the movies and loved feeding and watching the birds. She was a loyal Denver Broncos fan. She was well cared for by her loving husband, family and nurses.

Donna is survived by her son Bradley (Deb) Winick, daughter Tina (Bill) West, grandchildren Cassie (Davey) Nino, Stepfanie (Ryan) Coperude, Eric West, Sean (Samantha) Winick, great-grandchildren Spencer Nino, Brenya Coperude, Dagny Coperude, Logan Coperude, Konrad Coperude, and Barrett Winick. She was preceded in death by her husband Larry D. Winick, parents George and Esther Hoff, and sister Patricia Deines.

Family and friends will gather to celebrate her life at an informal celebration.
