Margaret T. Jones
August 11th, 1930 - January 2nd, 2025
Margaret Thurman Jones, 94, died peacefully at her home on Thursday, January 2, 2025. She was a member of First Christian Church and attended Pinkard Baptist Church.
She is survived by her sons, Ambrose (Carol) Jones Jr., and Jack (Jean) Jones, both of Versailles; her grandchildren, Jack (Kristen) Jones, Jarred (Jessica) Jones, Brad (Jackie) Jones, Nick Jones, Zack Jones, and Amy (Robert) Hartley; and her great grandchildren, Maggie, Cassandra, Brooklyn, Alexia, Audra, Lane, Alena, and Hannah, as well as many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ambrose Jones; her sisters, Madeline, Martha, and Lorene; and her brother, Sonny Thurman.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00pm on Tuesday, January 14, 2025 at Clark Funeral Home, Rose Hill with Terry Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Crest Cemetery. Serving as casket bearers will be Jack Jones, Nick Jones, Brad Jones, Jarred Jones, Zack Jones, and Lane Jones. Visitation will be held from 11:00am until 1:00pm on Tuesday, January 14, 2025 at Clark Funeral Home, Rose Hill. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Woodford County Food Pantry or to the Woodford County Humane Society.
