June 1st, 1942 - October 11th, 2024
There is One who stands guard with the worried things, who keeps watch while we dream, who does not leave the restless to stir alone. -Meta Herrick Carlson
Ron Miner was an amazing husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle. He loved his family, his friends and his church. He loved golfing, was the ultimate Packer fan and active in his church community. Ron's life work was in teaching Math at Lakewood High School in Lakewood California. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin at Whitewater and completed his Masters in Mathematics from University of Oregon. Upon graduation in 1964 Ron accepted a position to teach with the Long Beach Unified School District and worked in the same district until his retirement. Friends would say he was always eager to share a smile, handshake or a hug and will surely be missed.
