Christmas was Frank and Linda’s favorite holiday, so it is fitting that Frank left this world on December 25th, 2024, and joined his wife.

Frank “Buck” Buckley Geddes Sr. was born June 3rd, 1943, in Germantown, Philadelphia, PA and raised in the city – a “city boy” as he was known.  Frank’s hard work and intelligence helped him graduate one year early from Abington High and he received scholarships at the prestigious Gettysburg College where he graduated with double masters. Frank then taught history and math throughout the area. He met Linda McGlaughlin, and they married June 27th, 1964.  They moved with their three children to California, where Frank began his career with SRA (Science Research Associates).  It was during that time a “country” boy was born, and the family never looked back on city life.  Frank then began a career as one of IBM’s top leading salesmen and became Colorado bound.

Frank and Linda fell in love with Loveland, Colorado where he set up permanent roots with his family. Frank’s interests grew and he became an avid hunter, hiker, horseback rider, hay farmer, and loved his flower garden.  With his love of the outdoors, he also enjoyed birdwatching, camping, snowmobiling, exploring new areas with respect and love for wildlife. After climbing up the corporate ladder and receiving multiple yearly awards with IBM, Frank left IBM and started his own company, Healthcare Software Systems, Inc, specializing in medical billing and becoming a nationwide brand.  Frank ran this company until he retired at an early age.

Frank also known as “Pop Pop”  loved spending time with his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.  He enjoyed his volunteer work with the maintenance of hiking trails, joined a bridge club, a bowling league, and the Loveland Elks.  He loved country western and rock-and-roll music and enjoyed getting his groove on. Frank was a die-hard Philadelphia sports fan with mad love for the Flyers.  Frank is survived by his partner Debbie Reisdorff, his three children Debra Otenberger (Mike), Frank Buckley “Bucky” Geddes Jr, Gregory Geddes (Ruji), brothers Ron (Roni), and Glenn (Mary), grandsons Preston (Andrea),  Joseph (Sadey), and Makoto,  granddaughter CC,  several great grandchildren, and nephews. He is preceded in death by his wife Linda L Geddes, nephew Scott Geddes, niece Jennifer Sturgill, and granddaughter Taylor (Aiko) Geddes,   A Celebration of Life will be held Feb 8th from 2-6 pm at the Loveland Elks Lodge. Frank will be dearly missed and forever loved by his family and friends.
