Sarah "Wendy" S. Haney

Sarah S. Haney, 64, passed away on Tuesday, December 31, 2024. Sarah, known to most as Wendy, was born on October 3, 1960 in Columbia, SC. 

She was the daughter of the late Robert Perry and Sarah Knotts Sims. She was the wife of the late William T.Haney Jr. She attended The First Pentecostal Holiness Church of Winnsboro. She enjoyed attending church, as well as beach trips and spending time with family and friends. She was affectionately known as “Mema.” 

Sarah is survived by two sons, Chris Truesdale (Stephanie) and Byron Brazell; five grandchildren, CJ Truesdale (Lindsey), Keara Wright (Emmanuel), Chelsea Truesdale, Brandon Brazell and Cambree Brazell; three great-grandchildren, Hunter, Bella and Aspen; two brothers, David Sims and CW Sims; three sisters, Carolyn Smith, Betty Jo Sherman and Miriam Craft; and a vast extended family. 

In addition to her parents, Sarah is predeceased by her daughter, Brandy Lupo, and many siblings. The family of Sarah acknowledges with deep appreciation the many kind and comforting expressions of sympathy shown to us. May God bless you!
