Huyen Mong Thi Le

Huyen Mong Thi Le mother to Thinh, Diem and Jimmy Nguyen, passed away on Saturday, 04 January 2025 after a long battle with Pulmonary Fibrosis. Her final moments were spent peacefully in Charlotte, NC, surrounded by family.

Known for her strong will and devotion to her family, Huyen will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Huyen’s family asks that she be remembered for the joy she brought to others through her selfless nature in life not the sadness of her passing. She is survived by her husband Tan Ngoc Nguyen, children (Thinh, Diem, and Jimmy Nguyen), and granddaughters (Teagan and Elise Nguyen, and Gemma and Sofia Chang).

A wake and visitation will be held at Tribute and Tallent Funeral Service near Sharon Memorial Park on Thursday, 9 January 2025 and the family will receive friends there at 3PM. In lieu of flowers and monetary gifts, the surviving family respects Huyen’s wish that any memorial tributes be made in the form of charitable donations to Shrine of the Immaculate Heart of Mary in association with Congregation of the Mother of the Redeemer in Carthage, Missouri. In remembrance of Huyen’s life, the family asks that any charitable donations be made in honor of Huyen Le (Baptismal name: Saint Rosalia).
