George D Minchin, Jr. 81, of Turnersville, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 2, 2025.

Legacy

George was born in Philadelphia, PA and raised his loving family in Washington Township, NJ. He was a loving and caring husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle, and friend. He loved to be around his family, especially his grandchildren. He enjoyed cooking BBQ, trains, playing golf, darts, and bowling. He was a proud member of the United States Navy.

Family

He is the beloved husband of 60 wonderful years to Diane R. Minchin (nee Godman). Devoted father of Sandra (Paul), George (Rosie), Barbara (Henry), William (Amy), and Jeffrey (Nicole). Treasured grandfather of Sarah, Ashley, Madison, William, Taylor, Carter, and Ryan. Adored great grandfather of Liam, Luke, and Levi. Predeceased by his parents Clara and George D. Minchin, Sr. and brother Richard (Sandy). He will be greatly missed by his nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

Farewell Tribute

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Tuesday, January 14th from 9:00AM to 11:00AM at the McGuinness Funeral Home-(Washington Twp. Location) 573 Egg Harbor Road, Sewell, NJ 08080. Funeral Service at 11:00AM. Interment to follow with military honors in the Gloucester County Veterans Memorial Cemetery Williamstown, NJ.
