Keith "Woody" Louis Woodcock
April 19th, 1947 - January 1st, 2025
"We hold you close within our hearts, And there you shall remain, To walk with us throughout our lives, Until we meet again."
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our Dad/Husband Keith Woodcock, who peacefully left this earth on January 1, 2025, surrounded by loving family and his dog Dolly, at his home as he wished. Born on April 19, 1947, Keith's life was a testament to love, service, and dedication to his family.
A proud Vietnam Veteran, Keith served as a police officer at the Navy base, where he exemplified integrity and commitment to his community. With a generous heart, he served both his country and his family with unwavering loyalty.
Keith was blessed with a loving family. He is survived by his devoted wife Carol of 53 years, who stood by his side through all of life's journeys. Together, they raised three wonderful daughters: Cheryl Reese Pruden (Jason), Amy Sigea (Michael), and Jennifer Monteverdi (Mark). He took immeasurable pride in his role as ‘Gramps’ to Rebecca Gray (Anthony), Ryan Roberts (Shayla), Liam Reese, Millie Monteverdi, Lilieana Pruden, Emma and Lila Sigea. He was blessed to have three great-grandchildren, Oliver and Cameron Gray, and Sammy Roberts. In addition, Keith is survived by sister Bonnie Storie (Dave), and brothers Larry Woodcock (Brenda) and Craig Woodcock. He served as a beloved uncle to many nieces and nephews, each of whom held a special place in his heart.
Keith is also remembered fondly as a cherished brother to his late sister Cheryl, and son to his late parents, Miles and Emma who went before him.
Keith’s kindness, humor, and unwavering support made a lasting impact on all who knew him. He leaves behind a legacy of compassion and strength that will continue to inspire us.
As we gather to mourn his passing, we also celebrate a life well lived—a husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend to many. He will forever remain in our hearts and memories, and his spirit will live on through the cherished moments we hold dear.
Rest in peace, your legacy will shine brightly in the lives of all who were fortunate enough to know you.
