Santiago, Dominican Republic – It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Altagracia Cristina Hidalgo, who left us peacefully on January 7, 2025, at the age of 82. Born on September 12, 1942, in the vibrant city of Santiago, Altagracia lived a life full of love, laughter, and unwavering spirit. Her journey began in the Dominican Republic, where she was surrounded by the warmth of family and the beauty of her homeland.

Altagracia was a beacon of light in the lives of those who knew her. With her infectious smile and generous heart, she created a nurturing environment for her loved ones. She was not just a mother, grandmother, and friend; she was a confidante, a teacher, and an inspiration to all who crossed her path. Her dedication to family was unparalleled, and she devoted her life to nurturing the next generations with love, wisdom, and compassion.

In pursuit of a better life, Altagracia moved to West Palm Beach, Florida, where she continued to cultivate her dreams and aspirations. The transition to a new country brought challenges, but her resilience and strong spirit saw her through, allowing her to build a life rich with experiences and connections. Altagracia became an integral part of her community, extending her warm hospitality and kindness to neighbors and friends alike.
