BAURES, Richard Leroy, 69, of Pinellas Park passed away January 6, 2025 at home. He was a true native to St. Petersburg, FL, born on April 15, 1955. He was a 1973 Lakewood High School Graduate (Go Spartans!) He was preceded in death by his loving wife Tammy McCullough Baures, his father Robert Anton Baures, his mother Ruth Porter Baures, his sister Ruth (Ruthie) Stephens Baures, and his brother John (Jack) Edward Baures. Dick is survived by his children Mandy Perry (Cassidy), April Barnes, Ashley Horton (Ben), and Amber Baures (Ashley); his siblings Mary M Baures; Robert (Bob) S Baures; niece Leigh Baures and nephews Oscar Baures, Stephen Baures, and Jackson Baures; Grandchildren Scott (Scotty) Woodson Jr., Brandon Woodson, Haley Perry, Benjamin (Buddha Bear) Horton Jr., & Nolan Horton; and Great Grandson Kaidyn Woodson. 

Dick was a dedicated father and grandfather, and an avid sports fan (Go Bucs! Go Rays! Go Gators!)  His caring personality will be remembered by all who knew him. Dick’s Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday January 15th at the Anderson-McQueen Funeral Home at 2201 Dr. MLK Street North in St. Petersburg, FL. The public is welcome to join us at 10:30am with the Celebration of Life beginning at 12:30pm. Burial will immediately follow the service at Royal Palm Cemetery-South. 

In lieu of flowers— Petco/Petsmart gift cards can be donated to care for Dick’s beloved animals that he had to leave behind.
