Marguerite Gorman Miletic
February 29th, 1944 - December 30th, 2024
Marguerite Gorman Miletic died on December 30th, 2024 at the age of 80. Born in Lynchburg Virginia in 1944, she was the seventh of eight children.
She was a talented ballet dancer and taught dance as a means to put herself through college. After graduating she moved to New York City where she met Peter Miletic in 1972 while he was aspiring to make it in the restaurant business. Together they owned and operated Piro’s at 92nd and Madison Avenue for over 2 decades where countless lasting bonds were made.
Marguerite is survived by their only child Richard and her grandson Peter.
The family holds in the highest regards and with the deepest possible gratitude to her friends on Hilton Head who were able to pay final visits; in particular Julie, Chuck and Mila who gave remarkable compassion and effort to care for and comfort Marguerite in her final months.
