Steven Bradley Whittemore, a man of unwavering dedication and kindness, peacefully departed this life on December 29, 2024, in Casa Grande, Arizona. Born on June 2, 1959, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Steven spent a life deeply rooted in love for family and commitment to helping others.
Steven's journey began with his graduation from Waukesh South High School in 1977, setting the stage for a career that would span diverse fields and leave a lasting impact on those around him. His professional life was a testament to his strong work ethic and loyalty. From his early days as a production foreman at Solvox Manufacturing to his tenure as a paramedic with Southwest Ambulance, and later roles at National Vitamin, Core Civic, and as a courtesy driver for Jones Auto, Steven embraced each role with passion and a resolve to excel. His colleagues deeply admired him for his diligence and profited from his steady guidance and strong moral compass.
Beyond his professional achievements, Steven devotedly served the Pewaukee, Wisconsin community as a volunteer lieutenant in the fire department, underscoring his dedication to public service.
Steven’s life was as colorful as it was fulfilling, with interests that reflected a love for cars, cooking, and photography. He was known for his great sense of humor, sharp wit, and his exceptional ability as a dog dad. A lover of history and science, Steven was deeply thoughtful and considerate, traits that endeared him to his loved ones and friends alike.
Guided by his Christian faith, Steven's life was a beacon of care and devotion. He may not have been a regular churchgoer, but his faith was evident in his actions—he was always eager to lend a hand and share his kindness.
Thoughtful yet easy-going, Steven cherished every moment spent with his family. He leaves behind his beloved wife, Elaine, with whom he shared 45 blissful years of marriage; his children, Jessica (Rob) and Bryan; cherished grandchildren, Ethan and Tyler; siblings Lawrence (Tammy), Jeff, Lynn (Mike), Sharon (Mark), and Jan (John); and sister-in-law, Robin (Chris). Together, they form a tapestry of love that will continue to carry his spirit forward.
As we remember Steven, we honor a man who not only lived a powerful life but inspired everyone he met. His legacy is one of love, laughter, and unwavering commitment to those he held dear. While he will be profoundly missed, his life will remain a source of inspiration and warmth for all who knew him.
