Howard Joseph Swintek, Jr.
October 31st, 1952 - January 3rd, 2025
Howard “Butch” Swintek Jr. died peacefully in Colorado Springs, Colorado on January 3rd, 2025. Butch is survived by his oldest son Bryan and wife Jen (grandsons: Sam, Leo, and Gabe), and his youngest son Philip and wife Anna (grandsons: Jack and Oliver).
Butch is proceeded in death by his sister Nancy, and survived by his five siblings: Barb, Peggy, Jenny, Joey, and Liz.
Butch lived a full and adventurous life as an Army Veteran, Saint Paul Police Officer, self-proclaimed ski bum, and a proud father & grandfather.
There will be a funeral to honor Butch at the Church of Saint Agnes in Saint Paul, MN at 10:00am on January 15th, 2025, with a reception and celebration of life to follow at Mancini’s Char House in Saint Paul from 11:30am to 2:30pm.
