Joyce Price Harvey, 93, of Cayce, South Carolina, passed away January 7, 2025 at Oakleaf Village of Lexington, South Carolina. Born on April 18, 1931 to the late Gary Evans and Adelle Fallaw Price, Joyce was a loving mother, grandmother, and sister. Her great passions in life were teaching kindergarten, baking, crafting and serving others. A lifelong member of First Baptist Church of Cayce, Joyce supported missions around the world both through her church and privately. She loved telling stories about growing up with her cousins and friends in the Holland Ave area of Old Cayce.

Mrs. Harvey is survived by her son Price (Gloria) Harvey, daughter Elizabeth Gibbs, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Norman L. Harvey, brother’s Walter Price, Hubert Price; and sister, Gloria Corley.

The family will receive friends at Thompson Funeral Home on Saturday, January 11th at 12pm. A celebration of life service will follow at 1pm. Burial will be private.

The family would like to thank the staff of Oakleaf Village of Lexington for their continued care during her stay.
