In Loving Memory of Jeffrey Lundemo November 9, 1959 – December 9, 2024

"Brother... Your life was a blessing, your memory a treasure,You are loved beyond words and missed beyond measure."

Jeffrey Lundemo was born on November 9, 1959, in Bremerton, Washington, and passed away on December 9, 2024, in Lakewood, Washington, surrounded by family and friends.

Jeff grew up in Tacoma, Washington, and graduated from Wilson High School. He began working at a young age, earning his first job as a busboy at the Maverick restaurant on 6th Avenue when he was just 15 years old. He was incredibly proud of this role, and the staff loved him for his dedication and charm.

Later, Jeff followed in his father’s footsteps and pursued a career in the automotive industry. He joined the parts department at Nissan, known as Datsun at the time, working at Nissan of Fife and later at Younker Nissan. Jeff’s outgoing personality and love for people made him a natural fit for the job. He was known not only for the friendships he built but also for his extraordinary memory. He could recall part numbers effortlessly, impressing everyone with his precision and skill.

Jeff had a passion for life and a wide range of interests. He loved motorcycles, camping, music, and guitars—never meeting a guitar he didn’t like. His heart belonged to classic rock, especially from the 1970s and early 1980s, and he enjoyed watching old music videos that brought back cherished memories.

His love for animals was equally profound. Over the years, Jeff cared for a variety of unique pets, including a tarantula, a rat, a large snake (which he kept in the living room), parrots, and a cockatoo. He also had several dogs and cats, with his beloved Chihuahua, Abby, being his closest companion. Abby’s devotion to Jeff was unmatched, and heartbreakingly, her little heart gave out shortly after his passing.

Jeff’s sense of humor was one of his greatest gifts. He had a knack for finding joy in life’s silliest moments and loved to share laughter with others, whether through conversations or funny posts on Facebook. His infectious laugh and vibrant spirit will be deeply missed.

Jeff was preceded in death by his father, Lanny Lundemo, and his mother, Carolyn Hodgkinson. He is survived by his daughter, Sherilyn Finlayson (Josh) of Tacoma; his siblings, Steve Lundemo of Federal Way and Lisa Beiermann (Noble) of University Place; three grandchildren, two nieces, three great-nieces, many cherished cousins, and countless friends who loved him dearly.

Jeff touched the lives of everyone who knew him. He will be remembered for his warmth, humor, and unwavering love for those around him.

He will be missed by all who knew and loved him
