Marilyn Richards Lavin
September 19th, 1949 - January 1st, 2025
Marilyn Richards Lavin, born on September 19, 1949, in Brigham City, Utah, to Harold James Richards and Berniece Dial Richards, passed away peacefully on January 1, 2025, in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Marilyn is lovingly remembered by her husband, Thomas Lavin; her three children, Marianne (Mark), Angela (Tone), and Kevin; her cherished grandchild, Jace; and her three brothers, Dee, Scott, and Jeff. She was a devoted wife, mother, sister, and nana who found immense joy in spending time with her family. In her retirement years, Marilyn embraced the simple pleasures of life. She was always ready for a lively game of UNO or Cards Against Humanity with loved ones. Her warmth and humor shone brightly during these moments of connection. Marilyn also delighted in watching Nova explore the world around her and grow into a sweet and spirited young girl.
A memorial service to honor Marilyn’s life will be held in the spring when her family can gather together to celebrate her memory.
Marilyn’s love for her family and her ability to bring people together will be deeply missed by all who knew her. May her memory bring comfort to those she leaves behind.
