Patricia Flynn Geiger
December 12th, 1934 - January 7th, 2025
Patricia Flynn Geiger went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on January 7, 2025.
Pat was born in Jacksonville, Florida on December 12, 1934, to Evelyn Barfield Flynn and Wilmer Gresham Flynn. She married Kendrick Dukes Williams, and they moved to Bradenton, Florida in 1963 where Ken purchased Producers Fertilizer Company and later became President of Manatee Terminals at Port Manatee. They were married for 29 years before Ken unexpectedly passed away. Pat later married Alan Arthur Geiger.
Pat graduated from Florida State University with a degree in Journalism and was a member of Kappa Delta Sorority. She loved her Seminoles and remained a loyal fan.
Faith, family, friends and community service defined Pat. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church where she served as an Elder and Trustee. Pat also served as Past President of the Women of the Church and received a Life Membership. Later she became a member of Bradenton Christian Reformed Church and served in several capacities.
Pat served on the Board of Directors for Manatee Glens Corp. and was also on the Board of Directors for the Manatee Family YMCA serving as President of the Board in 1990 and 1991. She was a Life Member of Entre Nous and sustaining member of the Service Club of Manatee County. For many years she was a member of the Bradenton Country Club.
She is survived by her husband, Alan Geiger, her children Patrice Williams of Atlanta, Georgia, Melissa Gilmore of Lakeland, Florida, a stepdaughter Amy Geiger of Bethel, Connecticut, and three grandsons James Gilmore, Grant Gilmore and Richard Cartright.
A Funeral Service will be held at Bradenton Christian Reformed Church, at 10:00am, Wednesday, January 22, 2025. A private interment will be held at Fogartyville Cemetery.
The family requests that Memorial Gifts be sent to the Manatee YMCA or Manatee Youth for Christ.
