A Life Tribute Funeral Care - Largo
Rose Ann Pope
April 24th, 1936 - January 7th, 2025
Rose Ann Pope, at the age of 88, passed away on January 7, 2024. She is survived by her son, Matthew Pope, his wife Vanessa, and her three beloved grandsons, Benjamin, Spencer, and Owen.
Rose grew up in Somerville, MA, and spent most of her life in Braintree, MA as a home maker, before moving to Florida in 2016 to be closer to her immediate family. She was proud of her Irish heritage and a devout catholic who found comfort in the Lord’s scripture and being at mass. Being from New England, she had a deep love for the ocean and found peace whenever at the beach. Many days you could find her enjoying a walk at Nantasket Beach.
Family was the cornerstone of Rose's life, and she found immense joy in being surrounded by her loved ones, especially during the holidays. She is now reunited with her mother, Annie Curristan Melin, and her father, Martin Joseph Melin. Two people she had the utmost respect and love for throughout her life.
Her warmth, devotion, and love for her family will be dearly missed by those she leaves behind.
A small private ceremony for the family will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Meals on Wheels of Pinellas County at https://neighborly.org/meals-on-wheels-pinellas/.
May her soul and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.
