Esther Margaret Williams was born on August 6, 1936 in Watford, England to David and Dorothy Edwards. After finishing schooling, Esther worked as a hairdresser until she met a young serviceman from America, whom she married in 1959 and moved to the United States with.

There she had two children, Christopher and Gary, while moving from Alabama to Okinawa, Japan, to South Carolina, and finally settling in Arizona. Esther took up photography and loved to travel. She traveled to France, Alaska, Australia, Hawaii, and all over Arizona.

Esther was an avid fan of the Arizona Wildcats, the Tennis Grand Slam Tournaments and the World Series, and enjoyed walking her dogs every day in the desert usually followed by a trip to Starbucks for Frappuccinos for her and puppucinos for the dogs. She is survived by her son, Gary; three grandchildren: Stacey, David and Megan; two great grandchildren: Mackenzie and Riley, and her cousin Mary, who she always considered more of a sister than a cousin.

In Lieu of flowers or cards, please make a donation to the Humane Society of Southern Arizona.
