MARTHA EILEEN DIAMOND LOWE
A faithful follower of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ was welcomed into His loving arms on the morning of January 10, 2025, in Warner Robins, Georgia.
Martha was born on January 29, 1937 in
London, Ohio to the parents of Rev Elmer and Helen (Deyo) Diamond, and she was the oldest of four children.
Having accepting Jesus as her Saviour and being a daddy's girl, she often traveled with him to church meetings. She especially loved the missionary meetings.
Through out her life she taught Sunday School, Vacation Bible School, and the Nazarene Scouting program (Caravans). Martha was always involved in the activites of the Church. She served on Church and Sunday School boards, was always willing to work behind the scenes preforming needed tasks, from setting up for special functions, to sewing costumes for plays, and musicals, and so much more.
Prior to June of 1985, while residing in Hillsboro, Ohio she worked at Candle-Lite located in Leesburg, OH.
As an Ohio State Buckeye fan, though residing in Georgia, " You could take the woman out of the Buckeye - but could not take the buckeye out of the woman”.
She will be missed by all whose lives she touched.
Martha is preceded in death by her Mother, Helen “Deyo” Diamond; Father, Rev. ELmer R. Diamond; Stepmother, Mary Diamond; Brother, Donald “Donnie” Diamond; and Sister, Patricia “Pat, Patty” Diamond Schnars, all of Ohio.
