If you ever met Lisa Bottoni, you never forgot her. She was a force of nature—full of life, laughter, and boundless love. She had a way of making everyone around her feel like family, and anyone who was lucky enough to know her, knew that she would drop everything to help, listen, or just share a good joke.
Lisa was born in Massachusetts on December 29th 1956, but Florida became home for most of her life. It was in the sunshine state where she met the love of her life, Mike, and together they built a life most people could only dream of. For nearly 40 years, Lisa and Mike never spent a moment apart. They worked side by side, raised their family, and created a bond that was as strong as it was beautiful. Their shared commitment to each other was reflected in everything they did—whether it was hanging drywall together, running errands, or just spending quiet nights at home. They were a team, always.
Lisa wasn’t just a wife; she was the kind of mother you read about in story books. She was your partner in crime—the one you could always count on for an adventure, no matter how small or big. Her kids could tell you stories of her mischievous sense of humor, always feeding all the neighborhood kids, & her spontaneous rearranging of the house, and no matter how hard things got, she always made sure they had fun. No matter what, Lisa made sure her children knew they were loved. Her devotion to them was unmatched, and in her eyes, they were the greatest treasures of her life.
But her love didn’t stop there. Lisa was the best grandma anyone could ask for. Her grandchildren were her heart, and she showered them with the same boundless energy, warmth, and laughter she gave to everyone she loved. They were the light of her life, and nothing brought her more joy than watching them grow and thrive.
Lisa was one of those rare people who never hesitated to lend a hand. She worked hard her entire life—not just to provide for her family but to make sure no one went without. Her home was always open to friends and neighbors, and if you were ever in need of a place to stay or a shoulder to lean on, Lisa would welcome you without question even the times when she had little herself.
What made Lisa truly special, though, was how she made everyone around her feel. She had an infectious spirit, a laugh that could fill a room, and a heart that never ran out of love to give. She was the glue that held her family together and the rock that everyone turned to when things got tough. And through it all, she kept her sense of humor and never lost her spark.
Lisa’s passing leaves a hole in the hearts of everyone who knew her. She was more than a wife, more than a mother, and more than a grandmother—she was everything to her family. But what she leaves behind is a legacy of love, of laughter, of resilience, and of a life lived fully.
As we say goodbye to Lisa, we remember the countless memories she gifted us—her mischievous smile, her caring nature, how much she loved her dogs, and the way she made us feel like we were the most important people in the world. She will never be forgotten, and her love will continue to guide us all, every single day.
Lisa leaves behind her loving husband, Mike, her children, grandchildren, son in law, 2 dog children and an extended family of friends who were touched by her kindness, humor, and unwavering support. She was taken from us far too soon, but her spirit will live on in all the hearts she touched.
Rest in peace, Lisa. You were loved beyond measure, and you will never be forgotten.
