Kenneth (Ken) Kimbal Holman was born October 15, 1941, to Olaf and Adeline (Grosz) Holman on the Holman homestead east of Fredonia, ND.

He graduated from Kulm High in 1959 and was enlisted in the Airforce from 1960-1964. While there he studied heavy ground radio mechanics and was primarily stationed at Cape Romanzof LRRS in Alaska.

He married Dorothy Otterstetter in June 1963 and they had one daughter, Angela Holman-Wood.

Ken worked many different jobs ranging from overseeing and managing the opening of some of the original Target stores in Minneapolis and Houston to owning a meat locker in Gunnison, CO. He was a truck driver for most of his last working years until he retired. His hobbies included: tinkering on watches and clocks, gold panning, and enjoying the scenery.

He is preceded in death by his wife, parents, and brothers: Gene, Jim, and Bud, and all his known cousins. He is survived by his daughter Angela and son-in-law Kyle Wood, grandson Elijah, and many nieces and nephews.

He passed away peacefully on January 10th, 2025, at home, surrounded by family, with help from the MAiD program. He always said he was going to pass with his "boots on and kickin'." In true Ken fashion, he did just that on his own terms.
