Doloris ""Dodie"" A. Norton

Doloris "Dodie" A. Norton, 83, of Monson, MA passed away peacefully on January 11, 2025.  Born on August 21, 1941, in North Brookfield, Dodie was predeceased by her beloved husband, Joel Norton Sr.  Together, they shared a life filled with love and memories, and her passing marks the end of an era for those who knew her.  Dodie was a devoted mother to her four sons:  Joel and his wife Karen, Paul and his wife Paula, Michael and his wife Pam, and Kevin.  Her family was the center of her world, and she took great joy in the love and bond she shared with them.  In addition to her children, she leaves behind eight cherished grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren, all of whom will carry her memory forward.

For many years, Dodie's passion was being a school bus driver for Pathfinder, a role she held with pride and dedication. She loved driving the kids to all of their extracurricular activities, especially their sporting games.  Dodie also found joy in crocheting, traveling, and relaxing by her pool in the sun.

Dodie's warmth, kindness, and generosity touched the lives of all who knew her.  She will be remembered for her unwavering love for her family, her strong sense of community, and her ability to bring comfort and joy to those around her.

A visiting hour will be held on Thursday January 16, 2025, from 9:30-10:30am at the Beers & Story Palmer Funeral Home with a Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00am at St. Thomas the Apostle.
