Donald Glover

Donald L. Glover, age seventy, passed away peacefully on November 17, 2024. He is preceded in death by his father, Paul Edward Glover, and his mother, Eva Beatrice Malone Glover.

Donald had a passion for mechanics and spent much of his time working on cars and motorcycles. His pride and joy was restoring and maintaining his antique Hudson pickup truck, a love that led him to join the Hudson Club. He also cherished the time he spent with Jerry and Quentin working on the drag bike at Jerry's shop.

One of Donald’s greatest accomplishments was the care and devotion he provided for his mother in her later years. He enjoyed cooking for her, a skill he excelled at and took great pride in.

Donald is survived by his daughter, Amy Glover Johnson, and her children, Emmett and Cassandra; her husband, Johnny; his brother, Jimmy; and his sister, Paula, and her husband, Jerry. He is also survived by his cherished nephews, Jesse and Quentin Cox, as well as Jerry Rice and his wife, Kathy, along with numerous other nephews who will carry on his memory and legacy.

Donald will be remembered for his mechanical talents, his love of family, and his kind and generous spirit.
