Barbara "BJ" Jeanne Adams
June 17th, 1938 - January 14th, 2025
Barbara Jeanne Adams died on January 14, 2025 in Port Charlotte, Florida. She was born on June 17, 1938 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Clarence and Elizabeth(Stahl) Hanne. She was preceded in death by her husband John Adams. At an early age she started playing piano, could site read music and had the gift of perfect pitch. Her lifelong career was teaching music in several public schools, private piano lessons to students of all ages and piano performances at many venues. She dedicated her life to her music and spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ. Barbara is survived by her only daughter Anne Cecilia Lowery(Bradfield) and husband William, grandsons Cole Austin Lowery and wife Jordan and Grant David Lowery all of Virginia. Her body will be donated to science per her wishes and a private memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorials can be made in her memory to Samaritan’s purse, PO Box 3000, Boone, NC 28607.
