Gloria Frances Downes Haider

Gloria Frances Downes Haider, 82 years old of Tucson, AZ passed away December 28th, at home peacefully with her family by her side. Funeral Services will be held at 10 a.m. February 7th 2025, at Saint Francis de Sales Parish, burial will follow at All Faiths Cemeteries.  Arrangements are by Brings Broadway Chapel. Gloria was born in Dublin, Ireland to Thomas and Eileen Downes on January 29, 1942.  After growing up in the Shepherds Bush area of London, England she married John Raymond Haider October 8, 1966.  She later worked with Tucson Unified School District for years in the Special Education Department.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sister, Pauline Ryland, brother Alan Downes and son Daniel Haider. Gloria is survived by her husband John, her children Chris and Nick, her daughter-in-law Melissa and her grandson’s Kyle and Sean.
