Larry Duane Phillips

On December 21, 2024, around sunset, Larry Duane Phillips of Albuquerque, NM went to be with his loving wife. Larry was an accomplished musician and artist. He loved to bring the gift of music to any and all, be it through performing, teaching, volunteering, or just encouraging others. He also achieved one of the highest accolades in the Jewelry Industry, that of Master Gemologist Appraiser. He rose through the ranks, helping to form the Gems and Jewelry Division of the American Society of Appraisers, and went on to become the International President of the organization, teaching and establishing chapters in Mexico City, Mexico, Shanghai and Beijing China, as well as all over the United States. Larry is preceded in death by his wife, Ellen and his parents Fredric and Bernice. He is survived by his daughter, Tamara, his grandchildren Christopher, Cassandra, and Leanna, his great-grandchildren Eleyna, Damon, Colton, Carson, Meredith, and Annabel. He will be greatly missed by all those who loved him, especially the extensive Keaveny Clan. Services will be held on Saturday, May 3rd at 2PM at Affinity of Albuquerque, 10700 Fineland Dr. NE, Albuquerque, NM 87114.
