Deborah Regan passed away on Friday, February 10, 2023, in San Diego from a long battle with cancer.
Deb was born in Richmond, Virginia, to Lawrence and Audrey on May 6, 1956. She worked as a respiratory therapist for many years. After being diagnosed with cancer, and having no support system in Virginia, her brother Chris brought her out to San Diego and became her caregiver for her final years.
She thoroughly enjoyed cats and had no shame about it. There were cat books/calendars/T-shirts and many other knickknacks. Politics were always on topic with Deborah, she enjoyed watching political analysis on YouTube with a passion.
Deb was an avid sports fan and loved watching baseball and football. Her favorite team was the Kansas City Chiefs, so it was bittersweet seeing the Chiefs win the Super Bowl two days after she passed. (Perhaps she was giving them a little help?).
There will be a small memorial service in the back patio 2/20/2023 at 1 p.m., and a Zoom for those out of town.
