Iris McDaniel Curry left this life on January 10, 2025 to spend eternity with her Heavenly Father.
Iris is survived by her daughter, Jan Foster and her husband, Doug Foster of Charlotte, NC, grandson, Michael Sherrill of Charleston, SC., granddaughter, Curry Sherrill of Charlotte, NC. and great -granddaughter, Raine Sherrill of Charlotte, NC.
Mrs. Curry was preceded in death by her husband. William Bruce Curry and their two sons, Jeffery Curry and Brian Curry, a sister , and a brother.
Mrs. Curry was a graduate of Florida State University. She enjoyed golf, skiing and bridge. She participated in the 4th of July Atlanta 10k road race until her late eighties. I will miss this amazing person my mom.
There will be a Celebration Of Life at The Barclay 4801 Barclay Downs Drive on January 30, 2025 from 3:00pm- 5:00pm. In Lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to Southminster Hospice or Charlotte Humane Society.
