JoAnn M. Pinto, a beloved mother, sister, grandmother, and friend, passed away on Friday, January 17th, 2025, at the age of 89. She was born in Philadelphia, PA, to the late Elizabeth Latch and Mark Toal. JoAnn graduated from West Philadelphia Catholic Girls High School, Class of 1953.

JoAnn was an independent and hardworking woman who dedicated her life to her children. Her love and devotion knew no bounds, and she was always there to support and care for her family.

She found joy in crocheting baby blankets for her grandchildren, engaging in arts and crafts, tending to her plants, reading, and spending time at the casinos and playing bingo. JoAnn's creativity and humor for life were evident in everything she did.

As a devout Catholic, JoAnn valued her faith, saying the rosary and praying quietly in the morning. Her spiritual strength and dedication were a source of inspiration to those around her.

JoAnn's memory will be cherished by her children, siblings, grandchildren, and all who knew her. She leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and unwavering faith.

JoAnn was the beloved mother of Joann Murphy (the late Mike), Mary Ann Schiazza (Mike), Janet Baldwin (Rich), James Pinto (Tina), and Dana Kasper. She was a grandmother to 16 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
