Carol Sue Wall, 84, of Parker, CO went to be with the Lord on January 8, 2025 after a hard fought battle from complications following a knee replacement.
Carol was born to Robert Ray Sharp and Elsie Geraldine Sharp, on June 26, 1940 at the Wilson Maternity Home in Riverside, CA.
Carol was married to Donald Wall on August 23, 1959, and together they had 3 children who were the passion of her life. She was very proud to be a stay-at-home mother and wife which was her dream job, and she was really good at it.
She was heavily involved in her kids' lives, school, and activities. She worked as the lunch lady at their schools and loved opening her home and her heart to other young people just looking for a safe place to land. She had many other jobs throughout the years and was a proud entrepreneur. She literally woke up with a new idea every day, which is what made her personality so enduring. Some of her businesses included a shop where she made and designed costumes for musicians, and a clothing store in Garden Grove, CA that carried plus size ladies clothing named The Dippity Doo Shops.
When she moved to Colorado in 1980, she was a part owner for several Der Wienerschnitzel restaurants. Her time in Colorado also brought on many interesting job opportunities. The first, which she referred to as her first “real job”, was with Frost Line Kits. She also worked at Cakes by Karen, had a brief stint with Coca-Cola, May D & F, Joann Fabrics, and Christopher & Banks. She went on to own other businesses including an in-home daycare, house cleaning, landscape maintenance, sewing instruction, interior design, and a Butter Braid franchise.
This brings us to her most recent passion, Monograms by K & K. She was very proud of this business, which has operated in Parker for more than two decades. She was proud of the opportunities it provided for her family throughout the years and the many relationships she made with customers and other business owners. Her reach was long and once you were touched by her, you were forever in her circle.
Carol will be remembered for her devotion to her family and faith. She loved being involved in the lives of her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Many family traditions she established will live on.
Carol was preceded in death by her parents Ray and Geraldine Sharp, her brother Glen Sharp, and her sister Linda McComas.
Carol is survived by her children Kenny, Kevin and his wife Shirley, and Karen; her beloved grandchildren and their spouses Ray and Anna Wall, Katelyn and Evan Windham, and Kelsey and Michael Crane; and her great-grandchildren, Chloe Windham, Brooklyn, Jackson and (expected) Baby Crane.
According to Carol’s wishes, a celebration of life will be held when the flowers are blooming in June.
